One-to-one counselling for adults, young people and children

Talking therapies can help people overcome their difficulties and regain control of their lives in a safe, confidential environment.

We help people manage their difficult emotions and self-defeating behaviours.  Talking to someone who will listen non-judgementally in a safe and confidential environment can help find clarity and make the changes needed to resolve challenging issues and get our lives back on track.

We work with adults, young people and children from the age of five.

Using Play in Therapy

With decades of experience in education, our therapists have an extensive knowledge base regarding the nature of childhood and adolescent development and our programmes parallel their developmental stage.

Especially with younger children, they are encouraged to express themselves in a non-verbal way using a range of art, stories and creative methods.

Family Therapy and Support

All families can experience difficulties and differences from time to time, but sometimes they can lead to conflict.  Family therapy can be useful to help family members understand one another better, help move out of unhelpful patterns and find a way to learn coping strategies to bring you closer together.

Our therapists can give family members a non-judgemental space to explore feelings and to be able to express them in a safe environment.

Our therapists can also offer art as a medium to express emotions and help strengthen the roles and relationships within the family.

Art Based Programmes

“Art is an inherently enjoyable experience, which can be a powerful tool in a therapy setting. It can give you the opportunity to express your inner thoughts, while helping you to better understand and make sense of your emotions and your mental health. “ The Priory Group

We offer art-based programmes for individuals, families and groups.  Working together on art-based tasks develops communication, trust and team work.

It can help focus and process feelings that often can’t be put into words.  Art offers a safe arena for exploring difficult feelings and emotions.
